The commemoration day of martyr Isakh Verdiyev was held
October 6 was the commemoration day of Isakh Verdiyev, a graduate of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), martyr of the Patriotic War, who rose to the height of martyrdom for the freedom of Karabakh.
On the occasion of Isakh Verdiyev’s memorial day, a meeting was held with the family members of the martyr. Sumgayit city executive head Zakir Farajov, executive representatives, chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Rufat Suleymanli and active students of THIK took part in the meeting.
After the commemoration event, the UNEC team, along with the martyr’s military comrades and close relatives, visited the martyr’s grave in Sumgayit Martyrs’ Alley. The dear memory of Isakh Verdiyev was commemorated with respect, flowers were arranged in front of his grave.
