THE Impact Ranking: UNEC is 619th in the world and 1st in Azerbaijan
Times Higher Education (THE), one of the most influential rating agencies in the world, on April 22 announced the “The Impact Ranking” for 2020.
In this ranking, which measures the activity of world universities according to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), UNEC (Azerbaijan State University of Economics) ranked 619th (601+) among world universities, and Azerbaijan ranked first.
UNEC achieved the best result on the goal of “Decent Work and Economic Growth” which is the 8th of 17 goals. UNEC is among the top 300 (201-300) universities in the world for its activity on this goal.
UNEC which has ranked among the world’s top 401-600 universities on the goal of “quality education”, is among the 401 best universities in the field of “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”, which measures the creation of strong infrastructure, promotion of inclusive and sustainable industrialization and support for the development of innovations. It was also ranked 401-600 among the world’s top universities on the goal of “Partnership for Goals”.
