The memory of martyred UNEC student Asad Asadli was commemorated
The UNEC team visited the family of Asad Asadli, a student who was martyred in the Patriotic War.
The director of correspondence and additional education center Sabuhi Tanriverdiyev, associate professor Yalchin Kocherli, chairman of THIK Rufat Suleymanli shared their memories of the martyr and expressed their pride in Asad.
The mother of the martyr, Saida Khanum, spoke of Asad’s love for his country, as he was always loved and chosen among his friends.
The UNEC team got acquainted with the room created in memory of the martyr. The grandfather of the martyr informed about the history of photos of Asad in the memorial room.
Sabuhi Tanriverdiyev, the director of the National Security Council, said that he was proud that Asad was a student of UNEC, and that he rescued 21 comrades from the siege and rose to the height of martyrdom as a heroic chronicle of Azerbaijan’s history. He said that the memory of our martyrs, whose names are written in golden letters in the history of the country, will always be cherished, and their life path is an example for future generations.
