The UNEC team visited the family of martyr Agaami Heybatov on his birthday
June 6 is the birthday of Agaami Heybatov, a graduate of UNEC who was martyred in the Patriotic War, he would have been 28 years old if he had lived.
On the occasion of the martyr’s birthday, Javahir Mammadova, deputy dean of the Faculty of Economics of the Turkic World where he graduated, Rufat Suleymanli, chairman of the Student Union Committee, and students visited the martyr’s grave, laid flowers in front of it, and paid tribute to his dear memory. Then the UNEC team visited the martyr’s family and shared their family’s memories of Agaami.
Agaami Heybatov signed up for the army without the knowledge of his family and went to the front voluntarily to participate in the Patriotic War that started on September 27. Our graduate, who showed heroism in the battles in the direction of Murovdag, rose to the peak of martyrdom on October 16 in the battles in the direction of Goranboy district. After his death, Agaami Heybatov was awarded the “For the Fatherland” medal.
At the meeting, the UNEC staff presented a specially prepared gift to the martyr’s parents.
