The dean of the faculty of Turkish world of Economics – I am working with a highly qualified academic-staff
The rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, professor Adalat Muradov has met with a new dean of the faculty of Turkish World of Economics Hayati Beshirli.
Congratulating H.Beshirli on the occasion of his appointment as the dean, the rector A.Muradov spoke about strategic goals of the faculty of Turkish world of Economics. The main target is to create a university that provides qualitative education for the Turkish world at the base of the faculty of Turkish World of Economics.
In the meeting there was emphasized the importance of involving teachers from Turkish-speaking countries to the education at UNEC to improve the quality of teaching at the faculty. He noted that 8 young teachers of UNEC had received doctorate education in Turkish universities last academic year, adding that improvement of the work in this direction is important in terms of raising the scientific and academic potential of young teachers educated in Turkish language.
The Rector spoke about the importance of implementing dual diplomacy programs with leading universities of Turkey in order to increase the attractiveness of the faculty of Turkish world of Economics. He also noted that it had been envisaged to increase the number of economical specialties in the faculty.
The sides exchanged views on the acquisition of textbooks in Turkish in accordance with the specialties in the faculty of Turkish world of Economics and the establishment of a Turkish-language library at UNEC.
Professor Hayati Beshirli expressed his satisfaction for the collaborative work with the highly-qualified academic-staff. He expressed confidence that new achievements would be made in the field of preparation of highly qualified economists in Turkish language, further expansion of international relations of the university and recognition of the faculty of Turkish world of Economics as a higher education brand in the Turkish world.
About professor Hayati Beshirli
Hayati Beshirli graduated from Hacettepe University with the bachelor’s degree in the specialty of sociology. In 1998, he graduated from the same university with the master’s degree, and in 2003, with PhD degree in the specialty of sociology. H.Beşirli was engaged in pedagogical activity at Hacettepe, Sakarya, Gazi and Manas universities and worked in the positions of the head of the chair, the director of the Master’s and Doctorate center. He performed the speech in the international conferences held in Turkey and abroad dedicated to such topics as Turkic philology, Social Sciences, Intercultural Dialogue, Globalization, Regional Integration and others. The numerous scientific articles have been published in the prestigious magazines of Turkey. Hayati Beshirli was awarded the Prize of Foundation of Turkish World Writers and Artists (TÜRKSAV) for his book “Views of students of Turkish States on the Turkish World”. He was the professor at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
