The rector of UNEC Professor Adalat Muradov spoke about the importance of further deepening the cooperation of Turkic World states in the face of global challenges. A. Muradov made a number of proposals in the direction of strengthening the economic cooperation defined by the “Turkic World 2040 Vision” and “Samarkand Declaration” of the Organization of Turkic States. He stated that there is a need for the development of sustainable, green, smart, and inclusive economic growth policies among the Turkic states, as well as the digitization of economies, ensuring their development in the direction of the knowledge economy, creating a favorable, transparent, and predictable investment environment for foreign direct investments, goods, capital between economies, to ensure the free movement of services, technology, and people, and at the same time to increase the share of trade in national currencies between economies. The Rector expressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation in areas such as tourism, agriculture and food safety, healthcare, and defense industry, forming the Turkish Higher Education Space, implementing joint education and science projects, and strengthening the development and transfer of technologies.
A.Muradov brought to attention some points from the speech of Nobel laureate Aziz Sanjar at the meeting of the Turkic University Union (TURKUNIB) in Samarkand.
Then a panel discussion was held under the moderatorship of Professor Mehmet Yüce, Dean of the Faculty of Economy of Turkic World of UNEC. Professor Recai Coshkun of Izmir Bakirchay University, Professor Synaru Alymkulova of Kyrgyz State Arabayev University, Professor Murat Ikramov of Tashkent State University of Economics, Vice-Rector of the Turan University of Kazakhstan, Associate Professor Dina Razakova made speeches dedicated to the current issues of the history, science and education, economy and social life of the Turkic World.
After the speeches, Rector Prof. Adalat Muradov was awarded the “Prof. Dr. Turan Yazgan Education and Culture Award” established by the Turkic World Research Foundation in order to give great importance to education, culture, and scientific research in the Turkic World.
The speakers of the panel discussions were presented with plaques of appreciation for their interesting speeches.
