354 foreign students from 34 countries study at UNEC

A meeting is held with foreign students studying at UNEC.

At an online meeting organized by the department of International Cooperation, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Associate Professor Saadat Gandilova called on foreign students to be active in the social life of the university. She said they would be provided with the necessary support in conducting scientific research and developing various projects.

Director of the International Cooperation Department Sannur Aliyev informed foreign students about migration documentation and procedures and gave them recommendations on how to solve possible problems.

Issues of interest to foreign students were discussed and questions were answered at the meeting.

It should be noted that 354 foreign students from 34 countries study at UNEC, including China, Russia, Turkey, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Nepal, Maldives and Morocco. 302 of them are bachelors, 45 are masters, and 7 are PhD students and candidates for a degree. In the 2020/2021 academic year, 100 foreign students entered UNEC. Admission was held both traditionally and online.
