The Next Training on Quality Assurance Standards in Higher Education held at UNEC
The 2nd stage of the trainings on “Bologna Process and the European Standards and Instructions on Quality Assurance” was held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics with financial support of the European Union.
The trainings were implemented within the TWINNING Project on “Supporting the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for further Adaptation of the Higher Education System to the European Higher Education Area”. The attendees of the training were in detail informed about the administration of the quality assurance in higher education.
Standards in connection with the curricula, their development, students, teaching and training resources and support services with the aim to assist the reforms held in higher education system of Azerbaijan and its successful integration to the European education area were discussed.
In addition to the quality departments experts of Azerbaijan’s higher education institutions, specialists from Finland and Estonia have also attended the training.
The participants were awarded certificates in the end.
Note: The action plan of the two- year TWINNING Project covers the reforms in the spheres of higher education to improve the quality in accordance with the Bologna Process, improvement of accreditation system for higher education institutions and political dialogue between the European Union and Azerbaijan and the growing international cooperation and mobility issues.
