During the presentation, the staff of RDPU gave information about the purpose of the program, implementation stages, registration, and selection process. It was stated that the purpose of the program, named after Professor Azad Mirzajanzadeh, who became a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, is to identify and support young people who are able to appreciate new opportunities, find creative solutions to current problems, contribute to a sustainable future, have flexible, innovative approaches and support their development.
The project ideas submitted by the applicants to the program will be evaluated by the working group, and the authors of the ideas chosen for their relevance, reality, innovation and innovativeness will have the opportunity to participate in the second stage. At this stage, participants will be provided with professional support in the direction of project preparation and presentation, as well as various activities will be organized for the development of their leadership skills. In the end, financial resources will be allocated for the implementation of the winning projects.

He is the author of about 500 scientific articles and more than 50 inventions. Under his leadership, more than 250 PhDs and more than 100 doctors of sciences were trained. An outstanding scientist who has various scientific names and titles was awarded the Order of «Istiqlal» of Azerbaijan.
The program, which is a new initiative in the country, is implemented on the basis of scientific works, organizational and pedagogical activities, unique teaching style, as well as unique approaches to scientific and social processes of an outstanding scientist who is distinguished by his ability to reveal the talent of people.
