A formal meeting and cultural program were held at UNEC with the participation of a delegation from Hebei University of Economics and Business (HUEB), China.
The official visit took place within the framework of the cooperation established between UNEC and HUEB.
The visiting party included HUEB Vice President Ms. Du Hongmei, Director of the International Exchange Center Mr. Shang Liwei, and Party Secretary of the School of Arts Mr. Liu Jingwang. The delegation was received by UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening inter-university cooperation and held discussions on prospective directions for collaboration.
As part of the visit, the HUEB representatives met with students at the UNEC International School of Economics (ISE), where they delivered a masterclass titled “Chinese Language and Culture.” The session included practical recommendations for learning the Chinese language, alongside a demonstration of traditional Chinese dances, offering students a deeper insight into Chinese cultural heritage.
A highlight of the program was a concert performed by students of the HUEB School of Arts. The Chinese students presented traditional dance and musical performances, providing the UNEC community with a memorable cultural experience. UNEC student Nadir Azimli, a member of the Creativity Center’s Vocal Club and a student at the Faculty of Digital Economy, performed the Azerbaijani song “Sənə də qalmaz.”
The Chinese students’ performance of the Azerbaijani folk song “Sarı Gəlin” was especially well received, earning prolonged applause from the audience.
This visit, held as part of the growing partnership between the two institutions, was distinguished by a comprehensive and enriching academic and cultural program.
