At the meeting with the participation of UNEC Rector Professor Adalat Muradov and heads of relevant structures, Associate Professor Fariz Ahmadov, Director of the International Center for Master’s and Doctoral Studies (ICMD) delivered a speech with the presentation.
F.Ahmadov informed about the work done to organize doctoral education, the admission process and the upcoming issues. He noted that 14 PhD students are currently studying at Istanbul University in Turkey, and this year an additional 8 PhD students have received a letter of approval from the UNEC to study abroad. The speech also voiced proposals on the existing problems of doctoral education and their solutions.
Then, the current state of doctoral education was discussed at UNEC, and proposals for improving doctoral education were heard. It was noted that a new model is required for doctoral education, and there is a reasoned view of UNEC experts in this direction.
