Presentation of the “Young Messengers” Program implemented by the National Board of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been made at UNEC with support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan on March 13.
It was noted that the goal of the “Young Messengers” Program is the formation of a special group capable to represent the country in international arena decently. The youth will be instilled background on policy, economy and culture within the program. They will be enlightened on international courtesy and protocol rules. Transfer of experience and theoretical knowledge in the field of International Relations of youth participation in international events is one of the objectives of the project.
The first phase of the program is educational in nature. The youth trained by professionals on various topics. Then their acquired knowledge in training simulation games, master classes and meetings with diplomats and other tools will be experimented with. It will be held under the program will take place during the action and representation. The last stage, the young ambassadors of major international events in the program’s main mission will be to expand the representation of the youth. Those who pass the selection stage get the right to participate in the program. 80% of the young people who participated in the program in particular will be awarded with a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
