The Master-Class trainings on “Capital Markets Week” of UNEC supported by the Training and Enlightening Center on Financial Markets of the Financial Markets Control Chamber and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) have been completed. Experts of BSE shared their knowledge and experiences on “Azerbaijan Capital Market”, “Instruments of the Capital Markets and Administration of Trade”, Capital Markets’ Opportunities” “Stock Exchange Listing”, “Advantages of Being a Company whose Securities are Traded Publicly”, “IPO” and “Role of Accounting in making Investment Decisions”. The master- class trainings were of great interest by the students.
A digitalized simulation game on “Trade in Capital Markets” was played among the students in the end of the trainings. The platform of the simulation game developed by the BSE is based on the execution of trading operations on a virtual financial market and management of securities portfolio.
Trainings conducted within the “Knowledge Exchange Program” of Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) lasted for 5 days. Then the students were introduced certificates of attendance and gifts by BSE.
Making a closing speech, Head of the Department “Finance and Financial Institutions”, Dr. of Economy Avaz Alakbarov stressed the importance of trainings and a simulation game in increasing students’ knowledge. Deputy Chairman of Baku Stock Exchange Board Vugar Namazov expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan State University of Economics for the assistance in the implementation of trainings.
