The position of consultant- professor has been created in Azerbaijan State University of Economics aiming to benefit the professors’ experience in the educational and teaching process, ensure legacy in the educational and scientific processes and improve the personnel training.
Employees above 70 served at UNEC perfectly as the professor more than 15 years and rendered special services in the academic life of the university will be able to take the position of consultant- professor within their own consent. Consultant- professor will be released of the academic and administrative tasks.
A consultant- professor may give advice on scientific- research works held at the department, may run the doctoral and post- graduate students and may also be the advisor to a doctoral student. In addition, they may closely take part in the preparation of textbooks, training aids, programs and other teaching and methodological materials and may issue opinions to them.
Labor contract with the consultant- professor is signed within 5 years and his/ her salary is paid on the salary fund extra payments, other benefits and privileges maintaining.
