The winter semester of the 2017/2018 academic year has started at UNEC.

In winter examination semester will participate totally 12064 bachelors and masters degree level students. This year, for the first time the exams in the subjects of Finance and accounting, Economics, Business and management, Technology and design, Commodity research and the Introduction to the economics in the Russian School of Economics will be conducted in written form.

To ensure the objectivity and transparency in assessing the student knowledge the examination process at UNEC is open to the representatives of the public. This year as in the previous years, the control over the winter exam semester had been entrusted to the UNEC Public Supervisory Board. During the semester the members of the Board will hold the “Open door” day without the participation of the UNEC management, receive the appeals of the students and parents, and discuss the results of the semester. At the same time, they will organize conducting by the NGO operating in the field of  education, the anonymous surveys among the students related to the written exams.

Within the semester, the inquiries of the students will be responded promptly through the “UNEC exam” Facebook page. Along with the 146-1-3 “Hot line” service the test hesdquarters started operating in all the campuses of the university. The appeals and complaints  came through the “Hot line” service will be controlled over and at the same time they will be monitored by NGO, Mass Media and the representatives of the public, as well.

In each campus of the university had been allocated the auditorium equipped with internet, and the working hours of the library and the reading room had been extended for the students to prepare the exams comfortably.
