The new rules to improve the organization of externship for the bachelors level of study have been approved in the Scientific Council of UNEC.

According to the new rules,  the time for practice will be extended up to 14 weeks. The rules will also give the students the right to choose the enterprise for practice corresponding to their specialty.  The students, who are the winners of the stratup project adopted by the “Expert Council” of the  UNEC Innovative Business Incubator, including the business and grant projects  will be exempted from work experience internship.

It was stressed in the council that, at the UNEC the target of  which was to become the research oriented university, the number of serious steps should be needed for implementing this transformation, and  the necessity of establishing the specialized research groups in the various areas was emphasized, as well. Five research centers have been established  for ensuring the specialization in the research area: the Armernian Economic Research Center, the UNEC Center for Empirical Researches,  the Digital Economy Research Center, E-monetary Research Center and the Cogitive Economics Center.

The members of the Council have decided to establish the UNEC Student Economic Academy with the purpose of improving the student scientific researches. At the same time, it was noted that the student scientific olimpiad would be held among the economist students. By the decision of the Council the course for the fundamentals of scientific researches will be included into the curriculum for all the specialties. The student’s scientific work, distinguished due to the topicality  and the scientific level will be substituted by writing the self-guided work. The members of the Council have also decided to apply the rating system of the students on the basis of the scientific researches.

In the meeting by the offer of the student rector Jabbar Husseyinli was made the decision on differantiating  the group getting the high grade point in the exam session.
