Aysel Khalilova graduated from the Faculty of Romano-Germanic Philology of AUL with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s from the Faculty of Linguistics with honors.
Since 2004, she has worked as a teacher, headteacher, and associate professor at the chair of the “Foreign Languages” of UNEC.
She has actively participated in the USAID program training for teachers of Central Western Europe and Asian countries regarding the interactive method and received a “Certificate of Success” from both projects.
Having successfully completed the “TKT Module 2” course organized by the British Consulate for teachers of Cambridge University, she received the “University of Cambridge” certificate.
Successfully completing the courses “TEFL” (Teaching English as a Second Language) in Milan, Italy, “CELTA” (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Brighton, England, and “DELTA Module-1” (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Barcelona, Spain she has received the status of “International teacher”.
She won the “World Languages” certificate from Hacettepe University in Turkey.
She is the author of the “English language” programs of UNEC and the Academy of the State Customs Committee.
She is the owner of 28 local and 10 international certificates.
She is a Ph.D. in Philology and an associate professor. Her 12 scientific articles were published in foreign and 21in local scientific journals. She is the author of 2 books.
In 2022, she became the head of the UNEC Language Center, which was established with the official IELTS partnership of the British Council. Currently, that center will operate within the Department of Foreign Languages.
