The UNEC ranked the 492-nd in the world among 619 the “greenest” universities.Two universities from Azerbaijan were included into the annual ranking table of “ecologically clean” universities.
The ranking table drawn up by the University of Indonesia is he first and only rating for each university involved in the development of environmental infrastructure. The main goal of drawing up the rating table is to attaract the attention of the academic community to the solution of the environmental problems. While compiling the ranking have been reviewed such criteria as the environmental impact of the campus of the university, the use of energy and the impact to the climatic changes, the policy for reducing the utilization of paper and plastics, the rational use of water resources, the use of automobiles – the public, personal or bicycles on the territory of the campus, the teaching courses on ecological issues, the number of the published scientific articles.
The international rating system includes the leading universities of the Great Britain, the USA, Turkey , Russia and other countries.
