Memorandum on Research Cooperation Signed Between UNEC and a German University
A delegation from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is currently undertaking an official visit to Germany.
Within the framework of the visit, the Head of the Coordination and Organization Department for Research Centers at UNEC, Rana Huseynova, the Head of the Internal Audit Department, Rashad Muradov, and the Rector’s Advisor, Gunel Ahmadova, visited Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings with the President of Anhalt University, Professor Jörg Bagdahn, and the Director of the Logistics Management Program, Professor Markus Holz. The UNEC representatives provided detailed information regarding the university’s infrastructure, as well as its ongoing local and international projects and programs. Discussions encompassed a range of topics, including faculty and student exchange programs, the development of joint bachelor’s and master’s programs, collaborative publications, and other potential areas of cooperation.
As an outcome of the meeting, a new memorandum of understanding was formally signed between the two institutions. Furthermore, both parties reached an agreement on the establishment of the Azerbaijan-Germany International Energy Research Center.
