The signing ceremony was attended by UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, Head of the Scientific-Educational Center, Senior Adviser of Justice Talib Jafarov, as well as representatives from both institutions.
The primary objective of the memorandum is to establish cooperation in areas of mutual interest, organize joint scientific and practical activities, and facilitate the exchange of expertise. Under the MoU, the parties intend to collaborate on the organization of academic events such as scientific conferences and roundtable discussions, the preparation of scholarly articles, educational-methodological materials and other publications, as well as initiatives in digital forensics and cybersecurity. The memorandum also envisions the mutual application and advancement of modern teaching methods. In addition, the parties aim to implement joint projects to support the professional development of young researchers and students.
In his speech, Professor Adalat Muradov highlighted the recent innovations and development priorities at UNEC, with a particular focus on the university’s initiatives in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. He emphasized that this collaboration would significantly contribute to the formation of innovative approaches aligned with UNEC’s strategic goals.
Mr. Talib Jafarov, Head of the Scientific-Educational Center, provided an overview of the Center’s areas of activity and noted its proactive role in legal awareness, scientific research, and the dissemination of modern legal knowledge. He expressed confidence that the partnership with UNEC would be mutually beneficial and that the planned projects would create new opportunities in both legal and educational fields.
The event concluded with the official signing of the memorandum between UNEC and the Scientific-Educational Center of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
