During the meeting with the Uzbek delegation, the Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, provided a comprehensive overview of the university’s educational opportunities. He elaborated on the teaching capabilities of Digital UNEC, dual degree programs with international universities, incentives for scientific research, the differentiated salary system, the electronic examination process, hybrid classrooms, the issuance of non-academic transcripts for students, the Bloomberg laboratory, UNEC’s standing in international rankings, and other innovations. Professor Muradov emphasized that expanding cooperation with higher education institutions in Turkic-speaking countries is among UNEC’s strategic priorities.
In turn, Mr. Azizkhon Nodirov, Rector of TIFT, underscored that, despite its recent establishment, the university boasts a large student body across various fields and is rapidly expanding its international relations. Highly commending the innovative developments implemented at UNEC, Mr. Nodirov expressed particular interest in the digital university model, the application of academic transcripts assessing students’ soft skills, the incentivization of scientific activities, and the establishment of the Bloomberg laboratory. He stated that TIFT is keen to benefit from UNEC’s experience in these areas.
Following discussions on potential areas of collaboration, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation between UNEC and TIFT. The memorandum envisions collaboration in areas including faculty and student exchanges, academic cooperation, joint program development, and other related fields.
