A new memorandum is signed between UNEC and Kapital Bank
The signing ceremony of the memorandum on new directions of cooperation between UNEC and Kapital Bank was held.
UNEC Rector Professor Adalat Muradov, Chairman of the Board of Kapital Bank, Chief Executive Officer Farid Huseynov, and university and bank employees took part in the event.
Rector Adalat Muradov spoke about the long-standing close cooperation of UNEC with Kapital Bank and the projects implemented in this direction. Speaking about the necessity of new approaches in cooperation with the real sector, A. Muradov emphasized the importance of practical lessons in the real sector for the specializations that form students’ knowledge and skills. The rector said that the financial opportunities of UNEC’s Bloomberg laboratory, as well as soft skills training organized by the Lifelong Education Center, could be useful for the bank.
Farid Huseynov, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Kapital Bank, said that he is proud to participate as a partner in the university where he studied as a bachelor, master, and Ph.D. student. F. Huseynov said that 1,500 of Kapital Bank’s 5,026 employees are UNEC graduates, and 142 of them are working in management positions.
Then Leyla Nazirzadeh, head of the Department of Internship Organization, made a report on the current situation and future prospects between UNEC and Kapital Bank.
After proposals on new directions of cooperation between UNEC and Kapital Bank were voiced, a memorandum was signed between the parties.
At the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Associate Professor Hafis Hajiyev spoke about Farid Huseynov’s student days. He said that he was one of the active students and always worked on himself.
Rector Adalat Muradov said that Farid Huseynov is one of the graduates whom UNEC is proud of and presented him an “Honorary graduate” plaque and a “Graduate card”.
