Three scientists from UNEC have been recognized among the world’s top 2% researchers
The University of Ford has recently published its list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists for the year 2024.
Notably, three researchers from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) have been recognized in this prestigious ranking.
The individuals identified in the list are Tural Nagiyev and Elchin Huseynov, both affiliated with UNEC’s Composite Materials Scientific Research Center, as well as Andrea Gatto, a researcher at UNEC’s European Economy Center. These scientists are distinguished as being among the top 2% of researchers globally.
It is important to highlight that the selection process is conducted by Elsevier, the world’s largest and most esteemed academic publishing house, which has authorized the utilization of the Scopus database for a period of one year. The methodology for inclusion in this ranking considers researchers whose first five publications are indexed in the Scopus database, with selection criteria based on various quality indicators, including total publication counts and citation metrics.
