The presentation of the winning project in the first grant competition of UNEC is held
The final report of the Grant project “Preparation of porous metal oxide nanocomposites and study of their physicochemical properties”, which won the 1st Grant competition of UNEC, has been presented.
In addition to the academic staff of UNEC, heads and representatives of science and educational institutions participated in the event.
Opening the event, the director of the Department of Organization and Management of Scientific Activity prof. Zahid Mammadov said that for the first time, a grant competition had been held at the expense of UNEC’s internal funds. He drew the importance and conditions of the competition to the attention of the participants.
Then the head of the project, the head of the “Engineering and Applied Sciences” chair, the head of the “Composite Materials” Scientific Research Center, prof. Rovnag Rzayev, researcher of “Composite Materials” SRC, head of “Chemical physics of nanomaterials” department of BSU, prof. Maarif Jafarov made a report about the executed project.
After the presentation, questions were answered and suggestions were made.
Professors Huseyn Ibrahimov, Nurali Yusifbeyli, and Amdulla Mehrabov gave information about the scientific results and practical applications of the implemented project.
At the end, the participants of the event got acquainted with the laboratories of “Composite Materials” SRC and talked about the importance of expanding scientific-practical cooperation in order to conduct joint research in the future.
