The presentation ceremony of diplomas to graduates of UNEC’s dual diploma program with the University of Montpellier of France has been held.
Meeting with the graduates, rector of UNEC Professor Adalat Muradov congratulated them and expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills gained at both universities will be useful in their future activities and careers. The rector said that 18 students graduated from the dual diploma program of the University of Montpellier this year, and a total of 46 students successfully participated in the program, which started in 2018. He noted that these young people can play an important role in bringing innovations and international experience applied to foreign universities to our country.
He said UNEC has implemented eight dual diploma programs in bachelor’s and master’s degrees with leading foreign universities, adding that two new dual diploma programs will be launched soon and the number of programs will be further increased.
Then the graduates spoke about the similarities and differences between education at UNEC and the University of Montpellier, and shared their views on the teaching process of both universities, knowledge assessment, teacher-student relations, and the academic environment.
After the speeches, the graduates were awarded diplomas from the University of Montpellier.
