UNEC Delegation Embarks on a Business Visit to Turiba University in Latvia
A delegation from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is on an official visit to Latvia to strengthen collaboration with several foreign universities. The delegation includes Associate Professor Mansur Barkhudarov, Director of UNEC’s Russian School of Economics; Associate Professor Elman Jafarov, Dean of the Faculty of Digital Economy; and Gultaj Tahirli, a specialist in the Project Management Department of the International Cooperation Department.
The first meeting within the framework of the visit was held at Turiba University in Latvia. UNEC representatives met with Zane Drinke, Rector of Turiba University; Evija Klave, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and Agnese Pilane, Head of the International Relations Department.
During the meeting, both parties exchanged insights about the operations of their respective institutions, the work conducted, training and seminars held, as well as international programs, projects, and startups. Discussions also explored new opportunities for collaboration at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels across relevant faculties. Additionally, the teaching process and future plans were addressed in detail.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reached an agreement to enhance and further develop their existing partnership.
