The U- Multirank rating agency, funded by Erasmus program of the European Union, has announced the seventh edition of its ranking of the world’s universities and the ranking table on 28 subjects. In this year’s edition of the U-Multirank ranking, about 1,800 universities from 92 countries were assessed on 5 criteria – teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, internationalization and regional activities. UNEC, whose overall performance was rated “A” (very good) by U-Multirank, is ranked as the best 950 (among 1,786 universities) in this year’s ranking.
Among 1,786 universities in the ranking, UNEC ranked among the top 250 universities, getting the 209th best results in a special ranking on the specialty ranking of Economics.
About U-Multirank – U-Multirank was developed by an independent consortium at the initiative of the European Commission. The members of the consortium encompasses the German Center for Higher Education, the Center for Higher Education Policy Studies at the University of Twente, the Center for Science and Technology Studies at the University of Leiden and the Spanish Foundation for Knowledge and Development (Fundación CYD).
