The seminar featured insightful presentations and constructive discussions on global library initiatives, climate action, and inclusive resource sharing. As a representative of a partner institution, the Director of UNEC LIC, Ph.D. in History Adila Abdullayeva, addressed the participants and provided comprehensive information regarding several joint international projects.
For the first time, the international RSCVD platform (https://rscvd.ifla.org/) was introduced during the seminar. The presentation encouraged Azerbaijani libraries to register on the platform and actively engage in global document and resource exchange among libraries and information centers. It was highlighted that UNEC and ADA University were the first institutions in Azerbaijan to utilize the RSCVD platform.
It should be noted that by joining the RSCVD platform (https://app.rscvd.ifla.org/), libraries in Azerbaijan are granted free access to electronic document delivery services. Moreover, through RSCVD, libraries enhance international cooperation, gain access to the collections of more than 80 libraries across approximately 30 countries, and contribute to the acceleration of information exchange and research activities.
