The presentation about the activities of the UNEC Library-Information Center wins the national competition
Organized by the “Information and document management” faculty of Baku State University, the III Republican conference competition among students on the topic “Electronic catalog – as a result of high information technologies” has been held.
According to the terms of the competition, 7 teams of BSU students conducted research on the activities of BSU, UNEC, AUL, ASUOI, ASPU, ASUCA, and AUAC libraries. At the end of the competition, the teams presented the results of their research.
The “ALFA” team’s presentation on the activities of the UNEC Library-Information Center won the competition. The “ALFA” team, represented by BSU II year students Aliyeva Fidan, Mammadova Shabnam, Mammadli Laman, Rahimli Narmin, and Mammadov Agasef, presented the activities of the UNEC Library-Information Center, electronic catalog, and e-library services, and the possibilities of using local and international electronic resources. shared their related research. The interesting presentation of the “ALFA” team, the booklet reflecting the activities of UNEC LIC, its proposals to further improve the activities of UNEC LIC, as well as the video highlighting the application of new information and communication technologies in LIC, were highly distinguished from other presentations due to their excellence and scored highly.
