Cooperation between UNEC and Az- GRANATA is being strengthened
The academic staff of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) has visited Az- GRANATA LTD.
Dean of the School of Technology and Design, Professor Vakil Huseynov, academic staff members of the Departments of Technological Machines and Field Equipment and Technology of Foodstuff became familiar with the technological processes with the most advanced processing methods of the enterprise.
Later, Executive Director of Az- GRANATA LTD on alcoholic drinks Rovshan Farhadov and Production Manager of the Manufacturing on fruit juices Ramin Alifov provided UNEC employees with the information about the plant. According to them, the plant is supplied with the equipment from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria and France. The company owns 450 hectares vineyards and 400 hectares pomegranate orchards. Pomegranate orchards are organic and certified by Lacon GmbH Institute of Germany. Orchards, fruit production and cropping techniques are regularly tested by local and foreign specialists.
Agreement on signing the contract of cooperation in the fields of education, science and internship between UNEC and Az-GRANATA LTD was achieved at the end of the meeting.
