Agreement on the implementation of dual diploma programs has been achieved between the Center for International Graduate and Doctoral Studies of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the prestigious Universities of Turkey.
Dean of the School of Turkic World of Business Administration of UNEC Ferrukh Tuzchuoghlu and Head of the Department Economics and Administration Fariz Ahmadov have been on a business trip in Turkey aiming to improve the work of the Center for International Graduate and Doctoral Studies. Organization issues of dual degree programs in a series of majors of the Center for International Graduate and Doctoral Studies of UNEC have been discussed during the meetings.
UNEC representatives met with the Chairman of the Audit Department of the Higher Education Board of Turkey, Professor Omer Anayurt, rector of Gazi University, Professor Suleyman Boyukberber, rector of Sakarya University, Professor Muzaffer Elmas and rector of Istanbul University, Professor Mahmut Ak.
As a result of the meetings, according to the agreement reached with the Turkey’s leading universities the dual diploma programs on “Business Administration” with Gazi University, “Tourism and Hotel keeping” with Sakarya University and “International Relations” with Istanbul University on Graduate Studies have been achieved. The Commissions to organize the work in this direction more quickly have been set up with the order of the Turkish Universities’ rectors.
Plaques on behalf of UNEC dedicated to the 85th anniversary were presented to the Turkish Universities’ rectors during the meetings.
Note that, the memorandum on double diploma between Azerbaijan State University of Economics and the Universities of METU, Gazi, Hajettepe, Bilkend and TOBB were signed in September of the current year.
