Teacher of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) Ramil Jabbarov was selected a member of the Association of International Social Marketing.
The Association of International Social Marketing is being operating as a non- commercial organization. The main mission of the body is to monitor social changes, to draw attention to activities beneficial to the community through marketing tools.
Issues of the effect of the socio- cultural and economic change in micro and macro level of social marketing to consumers’ behavior and their lifestyle were reflected in the proposals made by the young teaching staff member of the Department Marketing of UNEC begun to perform this year. Proposals submitted on promotion of corporate social responsibility in the small and medium- sized enterprises will be discussed at the next meeting of the Association.
Note that during the events organized by the Association of the International Social Marketing for its members this year a number of topics such as awareness about heart health, nutrition policies to prevent obesity, campaigns against the use of tobacco, create social barrier to AIDS/HIV prevention and spread of the virus and to instill in young people a sense of social responsibility are being discussed and exchanged views on the proposals.
Being the member of the Association, the young teacher become eligible to participate in the monthly webinars on social marketing, coordinate the regional studies, use the electronic libraries and databases and attend conferences and seminars which bring together experts and members. R. Jabbarov will have a chance of taking part in the Conference of the World Social Marketing.
