UNEC launches a new initiative in accordance with the order of President Ilham Aliyev
According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, UNEC has launched a new initiative.
During his interview on local television, President Ilham Aliyev tasked politicians, political scientists, scientists and intellectuals with the task of creating national ideas for the future development of the country and stated the importance of conducting public discussions: “The new tasks facing the country today are the tasks of the new era. We solved the main task a few months ago, fully restored the sovereignty of our country, and the events of September, of course, cannot be taken out of the general context. Today, we start 2024 as a nation that has fully restored its sovereignty. I believe that the new era of our modern history begins exactly after September 20.
Our main national idea was to liberate our territories. In other words, the whole nation was united around this idea, around this action, and we have already achieved this. Therefore, of course, I have my opinions about the future development, and in many cases they will be decisive, of course. However, I would like discussions about this issue to take place in society, politicians, political scientists, scientists, intellectuals, that is, what should be our main national ideas and ideas regarding our future development. This should be a public discussion topic.
In accordance with the task given by the head of the country at UNEC, on March 14, “Will the future come itself?” the first public discussion was held. The first discussion dedicated to the cultural, scientific and ideological goals of the future was conducted under the title “The future is not a century, but a work!”.
Public discussions will be held continuously with different participants and the discussions will be broadcasted on YouTube channel “DAHA TV”.
