For the first time, UNEC has risen to the group of the best 501-530 universities in the world in Economics and Econometrics. This result was determined by QS analysis of 16.4 million articles published in 2016-2020 and 117.8 million references in 2016-2021. The evaluation also took into account the votes of 151,000 scientists and more than 99,000 global employers in the period 2018-2022.
The ranking assessment is calculated as a result of the analysis of 5 different categories, namely academic reputation, employer reputation, references to scientific publications, H index, and international research networking (International Research Network). The field of Economics and Econometrics, where UNEC was placed for the first time, was also determined based on the results calculated separately for the mentioned five areas.
In total, in 2023, the QS World University Ranking ranked the world’s best universities based on 54 individual subject areas for 1,594 higher education institutions. This year, higher education institutions located in the USA, England, China, France, and India were the most in the rankings.
