Congratulating the first students of the dual diploma program in “Food Engineering”, the rector wished them success in their studies. A. Muradov drew attention to the importance of the specialty of food engineering and emphasized that there is a shortage of personnel in this field in the country. Expressing confidence that the 19 students studying under the program will acquire sufficient knowledge and skills in food engineering at UNEC and Ege University, the rector noted that the dual diploma program will play an important role in this direction. A. Muradov said that the food laboratory named after Aziz Sancar, rich in modern technological equipment, according to international standards, operates in UNEC, and in that laboratory, all opportunities are created for students to acquire practical knowledge and skills in the field of food.
It was noted that students will study at UNEC in the first and fourth year, and at Ege University in the second and third year to master their specialty subjects more deeply. In the end, the graduates who successfully complete the program will have obtained diplomas from both universities.
Students’ questions were answered at the meeting. The rector advised the students to make maximum use of all the opportunities created for them at the university, to grow as professional specialists in their fields.
