UNEC has won the nomination “Which University Would You Choose To Get Education?”
The educational portal Mektebgushesi.az has conducted the survey among the higher education institutions of Azerbaijan on the topic “Which University Would You Choose To Get Education?”.
The survey, which was organized during the university selection of applicants, was mainly conducted among parents and entrants. The results of survey conducted with the representation of 43 higher education institutions of the country were determined according to the votes of 27.431 repondents. UNEC has become the winner of the survey conducted on the nomination “Which University Would You Choose To Get Education?” with 8311 votes.
The founder and editor-in-chief of the educational portal mektebgushesi.az Mazahir Mammadli, the experts on education professor Shahlar Askerov and Nadir Israfilov participated in the ceremony of presentation the diploma.
During the meeting with the rector of UNEC, professor Adalat Muradov the experts on education talked about the innovations implemented at the university in recent years. Noting that, in the short time UNEC had recently become the most innovative university in the country, the guests also emphasized that, these achievements were reflected in the results of the conducted surveys, and they highly appreciated the preference for UNEC in the selection of applicants scoring the highest points on the II specialty group over the past 4 years. During the meeting, M.Mammadli clarified the main goal of conducting the survey and gave the detailed information on monitoring of voting, the expert opinions and outcomes.
“Our target is to put the UNEC in the ranks of the world-class universities” , A.Muradov said, adding that the steps taken in this direction would be continued and he expressed his confidence that, the goal would be achieved in the short period of time. The rector expressed his gratitude to the head of the educational portal and the experts on education for the organization of inquiries in the direction of development of education.
Then, the rector of UNEC was presented the diploma of survey in the nomination of “Which University Would You Choose To Get Education?”.
