UNEC Students have been awarded Scholarship from the CTURA
The awarding ceremony in connection with granting scholarships and awarding to successful students of winter session of 2015/2015 academic year and the active participants of the Trade Unions who won international events from Azerbaijan Education Employees’ Independent Trade Unions Committee has been held in the Trade Unions Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan (TUCRA) on March 2.
TUCRA’s Chairman, member of the Parliament Sattar Mehbaliyev spoke about the important role of the science, education, culture and sports and noted that the President pays special attention to the development of these areas. Informing about the activities of the body he is leading, S.Mehbaliyev said, the named Scholarship of Azerbaijan Education Employees’ Independent Trade Union Committee has established in 1995. The Scholarship is awarded to the successful students of the winter and spring exam sessions and the active participants of the trade unions.
Then the students have been awarded the named Scholarship. There are UNEC students among the winners.
1. Nurlan Babayev – Economics and Industry
2. Nargiz Tahirova – Finance
3. Gunay Garayeva – SABAH Groups
4. Muraz Nabizade – Business Administration
In addition, students participating in the competitions of international level on science, art and sports have been awarded Honorary Diplomas and monetary prize. Among the students rewarded there is a third- year undergraduate of the School of Economics and Industry of UNEC Umud Mammadzade. U.Mammadzade is the double world and European, triple Republican, Caucasian champion and international tournaments.
