UNEC students visited the family of martyr Eldar Aliyev
Chairman of UNEC Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli and THIK activists visited the grave of UNEC graduate Eldar Aliyev, who was heroically martyred in the Patriotic War, and his family.
The students expressed their condolences to the martyr’s family and said they were proud of him, and bowed before the spirit of heroic sons like Eldar.
Eldar’s father Suleyman Aliyev told the students about his son’s short but glorious life. Eldar graduated from high school with excellent grades and in 2011 was admitted to the Turkish World Business Faculty of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 2012, Eldar, who showed interest in intellectual competitions, participated in the interfaculty “What? Where? When?” takes the first place in the competition. He also succeeds in the “Brain Ring” intellectual game, “Inter-Student I Olympiad of Economic Knowledge”. Eldar had a great interest in chess games as well as mathematics. Because he loves to study and read about Napoleon, he was called “Napo” among his friends.
He graduated from the university in 2015 and serves in military unit No. N in Shahbuz district of Nakhchivan MR. Eldar Aliyev, who returned from military service in 2016, starts work in one of the private companies. In addition to working, he participated in courses organized by foreign universities and earned international certificates to improve himself. He was fluent in English, Russian and Turkish languages.
On September 27, 2020, when the Second Karabakh War began, Eldar voluntarily went to the front. Fuzuli participates in the battles for the liberation of Hadrut and Jabrayil from occupation. When he was at the front, he regularly talked to his family and gave the news of the liberation of the lands with great enthusiasm. The last time he spoke with his family was on October 12, and when he was in Fuzuli, he was very happy saying “I am in my mother’s homeland”.
Eldar was heroically martyred on October 13 in the battles for Fuzuli region. He was buried on October 18 in Baku city, in the Ahmadli settlement cemetery. After his death, he was awarded “For the Fatherland” and “For the liberation of Khojavend” medals.
His co-worker said that Eldar always takes responsibility for his work, that in addition to working, he also attends self-development courses and is always looking for new thoughts and ideas.
At the meeting, Chairman of UNEC Student Trade Union Committee Rufat Suleymanli presented the Honorary Decree of THIK to the martyr’s family. He said that the dear memory of Eldar Aliyev will live forever in the hearts of each of us.
