The opening ceremony was graced by notable figures, including Member of Parliament Mr. Jeyhun Mammadov, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Ms. Saadat Gandilova, and representatives from various volunteer organizations. Throughout the week, a variety of seminars and training sessions provided students with opportunities to enhance their competencies in areas such as personal development, leadership, and teamwork. During the training sessions on “Volunteering and Personal Development,” participants acquired both theoretical insights and practical expertise. Additionally, “Conversation Clubs” offered a conducive environment for students to improve their foreign language skills.
The week also included inter-faculty essay competitions, volleyball matches, intellectual games, and film screenings, all of which witnessed enthusiastic student participation. Victorious participants were awarded certificates of honor and medals in recognition of their achievements.
A notable highlight of the week was the promotion of reading culture. The UNEC Digital Volunteers Organization hosted a reading competition, during which students engaged in stimulating discussions on a selected book and were duly recognized for their contributions.
