UNEC Student in the International IT Championship “Golden Byte 2017”
Our country participates in the International IT Championship “Golden Byte 2017” with support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the first time.
UNEC’s student Fegan Chelebizade is also among the young people who successfully passed through the selection tours. The fourth-year student of the Faculty Business and Management F.Chelebizade has got a chance to represent Azerbaijan in an international level with his “Tagwishes” Project. UNEC student’s project pretends the nomination of “Web Design”. The project which attached the jury’s interest, reached the final stage on the region. In case if it becomes the winner of this stage, will get a chance of joining the final to be held within April 22-23 in Kiev.
The prize fund of the Championship held under the motto “Your idea can cause a revolution in the world of IT” is $20 000.
Note: The “Golden Byte 2017” is an incredible opportunity to introduce your project to the leading IT companies, to exchange experiences with the representatives of other countries and most importantly, a chance to evaluate yourself and your project objectively. The participants can expect job offers from the world- renowned companies and start-up projects can earn investments from foundations and business angels. The championship is already the ninth. Every year, over 10 000 young people participate in the championship from the Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Moldova. The organizer of the championship is a professional international training center STEP IT Academy specialized in computer training. The Academy has 44 branches in 16 countries of four continents (Europe, Asia, Western and Eastern America) of the world.
