Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Dr. Adalat Muradov has taken part at the conference on “Turkish Universities in the European Research Area”. Rector A. Muradov joined the event held in Ankara at the Rector of Middle East Technical University of Turkey, Professor Ahmet Achar’s invitation.
Discussions on the priorities and directions of the European research area were made during the conference organized by the Middle East Technical University, Boghazichi University, Bilkent University, Istanbul Technical University, Koch University, Sabanji University, Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council and the European Commission. Reports around the “Horizon 2020” scientific- research and technological development 8th framework program were heard during the event.
Rector A. Muradov met with the Rector of Boghazichi University, Professor Gulay Barbarosoghlu, Rector of Sabanji University, Professor Nihat Berker, Rector of Koch University, Professor Umran Inan, Rector of the Middle East Technical University, Professor Ahmet Achar, Rector of Bilkent University, Professor Abdullah Atalar and the Rector of Istanbul Technical University, Professor Mehmet Karaja in this important event for UNEC in terms of its integration to the European studies.
Rector A. Muradov called at the Technopark of the Middle East Technological University within his trip. Exchange of the information about the nuances of the action mechanism and the prospects of development of the industrial park was made during the meeting.
Discussions on cooperation opportunities with the Cambridge University Human Resource Director Sheyla Gupta were also made during the meeting.
