In connection with the award presentation, ASYOU Chairman Rashad Zeynalov met with UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov.
Expressing his appreciation for the opportunity to visit his alma mater, Rashad Zeynalov highlighted UNEC’s significant contributions to the state’s youth policy. He emphasized the pivotal role that the university’s students and alumni have consistently played in the country’s socio-political landscape. Furthermore, he provided insights into ASYOU’s ongoing initiatives and future projects, underscoring the importance of strengthening collaboration with UNEC in this regard.
Professor Adalat Muradov, in turn, conveyed his immense pride in UNEC graduates and reaffirmed his openness to all youth-related initiatives and ideas. He emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting ASYOU’s projects and elaborated on UNEC’s transformation into a student-centered institution. He noted that students actively participate in university governance, with 15 student organizations currently operating within the university, a number that continues to grow annually through student-led initiatives.
Additionally, the rector extended an invitation to ASYOU to participate in UNEC’s recently launched projects, “Popularizing Science” and “Science is Beautiful: From School to Science.”
Concluding the meeting, Rector Adalat Muradov was formally presented with the “Innovation and Development Award” in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the sustainable and systematic development of the Student Youth Organization within ASYOU.
