Ragif Gasimov was born on August 11, 1983 in Baku. He graduated from the School-lyceum #246 in Binagadi district in 2000 and entered the Institute of Administration of People\u2019s Economy under the auspice of the Cabinet of Ministers the same year. As the mentioned Institute was merged with the Azerbaijan State Economic University in 2002, he graduated from the Faculty of Turkish World OF Business Administration of Azerbaijan State University Economics in 2004.<\/p>\n

Later, he continued his education. In 2004, he got graduate education in \u201cManagement and Organizing\u201d at the Nigde University of the Republic of Turkey. After receiving Master\u2019s degree in 2006, he got an opportunity to get Doctorate study in \u201cManagement and Organizing\u201d at the Sakarya University of the Republic of Turkey. In 2011, he defended the doctorate thesis on \u201cHuman resources management at enterprises in Azerbaijan\u201d and received a PhD in Economic Sciences.<\/p>\n

Since 2008, he worked as a specialist at the Department of Student Affairs in UNEC Faculty of Turkish World of Business Administration and was a member of the Executive Board. Moreover, he conducted classes in \u201cHuman resources management\u201d, \u201cStrategic management\u201c, \u201cQuality management\u201d , \u201cBusiness Administration\u201d and \u201cModern management theory\u201d. He delivered speeches at a number of local and foreign conferences and published more than 15 articles. He was appointed the Director of the Student Affairs Department of the Faculty Turkish World of Business Administrationin 2010. He worked as the coordinator of the \u201cMevlana Program\u201d at\u00a0University of Economics\u00a0from 2012 and occupied the position of the Deputy Director of the Master Degree Center from April 2014 to October 1.<\/p>\n

From October 1, 2014, to August 2021, he served as Director of the Center for Educational Quality Assessment and Management.<\/p>\n

In August 2021, he was appointed \u00a0UNEC\u00a0Vice-Rector for Digitalization.<\/p>\n

From August 2021 to March 2025, he served as UNEC’s Vice-Rector for Digitalization.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2023, he has been the director of the Zagatala branch of UNEC.<\/p>\n
