Head of the Department of \u201cConsumer goods expertise\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Prof. Hasanov Ali Panah<\/span><\/h4>\n

He was born on December 31 1937 in Beylagan region.<\/p>\n

Completing the secondary school with honors, he entered the Institute of National Economy named after K. Marx in 1957. He graduated from the institute with honorary diploma in 1962 and started labor activity at the department as a teaching staff. Within 1962-1966 he was elected and served a Deputy Chairman of the United Trade Union Committee of the University.<\/p>\n

In the years of 1962-1964 he worked as an assistant at the Department of \u201cCommodity Research of Industrial Goods\u201d of Azerbaijan State University (current Baku State University).<\/p>\n

Within1966-1988, he served as an Associate professor of the department of \u00abCommodity research of industrial products\u00bb of Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy;
\nIn 1993-2000, Rector of Baku Institute of Commodity Research and Commerce;
\nIn 2000-2004, a Vice-rector of Azerbaijan State Economic University;
\nIn 2004-2011, a Dean of the faculty of \u201cCommodity Research\u201d of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.<\/p>\n

In 2011, he was a Head of the department of \u201cCommodity Research of non-food products\u201d of Azerbaijan State University of Economics.<\/p>\n

Currently, he is a Head of UNEC Department of \u201cConsumer Goods Expertise\u201d.<\/p>\n

He is the author of more than 150 scientific works, including 27 textbooks, training facilities and monographs.<\/p>\n

He was presented Honorary Diplomas and awards at different times. In 2010, he was awardedthe Medal of \u201cProgress\u201d by the Presidential Decree of AR.<\/p>\n

By the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 24, 2020, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of\u00a0\u00a0Azerbaijan State University of Economics and for his services to the development of education in Azerbaijan, Ali Panah oglu Hasanov was awarded a personal scholarship of\u00a0the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

He is married, has 3 children.<\/p>\n

He died on March 13, 2024.<\/p>\n
