He was born in 1945 in Guba region.<\/p>\n

In 1962-1967 he studied at\u00a0\u00a0 Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (now\u00a0\u00a0 Azerbaijan Technical University) and became a mechanical engineer. After graduating from the institute, he started working as a young specialist at the department of Mechanical Engineering Technology. In 1969-1971 he worked as an assistant at the department of \u201cTextiles and food industry machines\u201d of ATU.<\/p>\n

In 1970-1973 he studied at postgraduate course of \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Moscow Institute of Light Industry Technology.<\/p>\n

In 1973 he defended his candidate thesis in Moscow.<\/p>\n

In 1973-1979 he worked as an assistant and senior lecturer at the \u201cTextiles and food industry machines\u201d department of AMU.<\/p>\n

From 1979 he worked as the head of the department at\u00a0 Azerbaijan Institute of Technology, and from 1984 he also worked as the vice-rector.<\/p>\n

In 1990, he defended his doctoral dissertation at\u00a0\u00a0 St. Petersburg State University of Design and Technology and received the title of Doctor of Technical Sciences. From 1991 to 2000 he worked as the head of the \u201cTechnological machines and field equipment\u201d department of the University of Economics.<\/p>\n

In 1984-1991 he has been the\u00a0\u00a0 member of the Teaching Methodological Council of the USSR Ministry of Public Education.<\/p>\n

In 1993-2008, he was a member of the Expert Council on Technical Sciences under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and chairman of the \u201cLight and Industry\u201d department.<\/p>\n

He is the author of more than 150 scientific-methodical articles published in the republic and abroad, including 8 textbooks, 4 textbooks, 3 methodical instructions, 20 subject programs, 8 patents.<\/p>\n

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 24, 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of \u201cHonored Teacher\u201d on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics and for his services to the development of education in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

He is the author of more than 150 scientific-methodical articles published in the republic and abroad, including 8 textbooks, 4 manuals, 3 methodical instructions, 20 subject programs, 8 patents.<\/p>\n

He is currently a professor at the department of Engineering and Applied Sciences of UNEC.<\/p>\n

He is married, has a daughter, two sons and three grandchildren.<\/p>\n
