Dr of Econ., Prof. Aliyev Umudvar Ganbar<\/span><\/p>\n

Was born in Jafarli village of Imishli region of the Republic of Azerbaijan on August 10, 1953.<\/p>\n

Studied at the Jafarli village secondary school during 1960-1970.<\/p>\n

Entered to the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economics, current Azerbaijan State Economics University in 1972, and graduated from this institute in 1977 with honored diploma. Graduated from post-graduate degree of the same Institute in 1985 and defending dissertation get the title of candidate on economic sciences.
\nDefended doctoral dissertation in 2007.\u00a0\u00a0Currently is the Doctor of economics, and professor of the chair \u201cEconomic theory-1\u201d.<\/p>\n

Until September 2022, he was the head of the “Theoretical and Practical Economics” department of UNEC.<\/span><\/p>\n

Awarded with the \u201cTereggi\u201d medal for contribution to the development of education by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011.\u00a0Is the member of doctorate defense council of the University.<\/p>\n

Is the author of several monographs and more than 70 scientific articles.<\/p>\n

According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated September 24, 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Teacher” on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan State University of Economics and for his services to the development of education in Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

Married, has three children and two grandchildren.<\/p>\n
