The training on the topic \u201cInformation security\u201dwas held for UNEC teachers.<\/em><\/h1>\n

The professor-teaching staff of the Technology and Design<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0Economics<\/a><\/span> and\u00a0 Commodity Science<\/a><\/span>\u00a0faculties took part in the training organised by the UNEC Technological Education Group (TEG).<\/p>\n

The UNEC TEG\u2019s this event was envisaged in “Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Telecommunication and Information Technologies in the Republic of Azerbaijan”\u00a0 within the framework of increasing the level of education in the sphere of technology and was held with the support of Smart Systems Technology LLC which is dealing with teaching modern information and banking technologies in Azerbaijan, designing and establishing the telecommunication networks, development of complex information systems, rendering the internet provider services, sale of modern communication equipment, etc..<\/p>\n

In the event the associated professor of the \u201cInformation economy and technologies<\/a><\/span>\u201d faculty Tarana Aliyeva stated that the reason for the loss related to the information security and\u00a0 the technologies, the processes and the technological aspects requiring the necessary care for the information security surrounded the people were due to the improper actions of users more than the lack of technology or technolocical errors.<\/p>\n

The invited representative of Smart Systems Technology LLC \u00a0\u2013 the head of the project office, the graduate of UNEC Jeyhun Jabbarli provided the extensive information on the information security and the reasons for creation and expansion of\u00a0 cyber attacks, the areas affected by the cyber attacks and the lossess related to it. \u00a0J.Jabbarli presented to the participants the statistics of the situations caused by the large-scale cyber attacks, the company he worked for had encountered within 20 years experience \u00a0and \u00a0he expressed his attitude towards the importance of implementing such requirements as being informed of global cyber security culture, responsibility, ethics, risk assesment, security management, design and implementaion put forward all participants \u2013 including government agencies, businesses and organizations that create, administer and maintain the information systems and networks, as well as individual users. He explained to the participoants of the training the stages of the necessary security measures they should follow when dealing with large amount of information databases.<\/p>\n

In the discussions on the topic the participants of the training exchanged\u00a0 the views on the issues they were interested in. The dean of the faculty of Economics, associated professor\u00a0Asiman Guliyev<\/a><\/span> touched upon the issue of role of state and private structures in the struggle against cyber attacks and the level of their participation. The head of the \u201c\u0130nformatics<\/a><\/span>\u201d chair, associated professor\u00a0Hafiz Bayramov<\/a><\/span> expressed his opinion on the role of the local organizations and companies actively involved in the activities against cyber attacks and their attempts to create high-quality software. The head of the chair for\u00a0 \u201cEconomy of the Enterprise<\/a><\/span>\u201d, associated professor\u00a0Ali Hajiyev<\/a> <\/span>spoke about the activities to ensure the information security in Azerbaijan and evaluated this training as one of the necessary measures taken by the e-government for ensuring the information security.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
