Rector of the National Research University \u201cHigher School of Economics\u201d of Russia Yaroslav Kuzminov visited Azerbaijan State University of Economics on the invitation of the institution on June 3.<\/span><\/p>\n

First of all, the guests visited the Honorary Cemetery and put flowers at the National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s grave. Then the outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva\u2019s grave was visited.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meeting was continued at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Making a speech ASUE Rector, Dr Adalat Muradov spoke about the plans to be implemented between the two universities and the significance of the cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The issues of the implementation of the dual diploma programs in Russian in the undergraduate and graduate levels of education, realization of mutual undergraduate, graduate students\u2019 and teaching staff\u2019s exchange, organization of joint summer and winter schools, conducting joint research on relevant topics and participation in international scientific- research granting projects, creating conditions for the research fellows to carry out researches at the other institution every year and exchange of experience on determining the instructors\u2019 rating were mentioned as main directions of the cooperation between ASUE and the National Research University \u201cHigher School of Economics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rector of the National Research University \u201cHigher School of Economics\u201d of Russia Yaroslav Kuzminov spoke about the digitalization of new teaching methods, education on modules and teaching process, organization of joint conferences (including webinar and videoconferences) in his speech.<\/span><\/p>\n

Decision on establishing joint lyceum was taken during the meeting. Realization of undergraduate and graduate dual diploma programs, online courses and conducting joint research works were discussed in the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

The history of bilateral cooperation between the higher education institutions began with the implementation of the active correspondence on potential relationship opportunities between the relevant bodies on international affairs of both universities within 2014\/2015 academic years. On February 14- 15 of this year the prestigious Higher School of Economics\u2019 Olympiad on Azerbaijan was held at AZUE. 2 ASUE students became the winners of the Olympiad the participants of which were about 50 students. Both students gained a chance of getting free graduate education at the NRU HSE. The Higher School of Economics\u2019 Professor M. V. Plotnikov conducted Master Classes for ASUE students on the eve.<\/span><\/p>\n

On April 17 of this year a contract about the cooperation between ASUE and the Higher School of Economics within the framework of the participation at the Moscow International Exhibition of Education\u201d was signed with the participation of the delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov. The document was signed by ASUE Rector, Dr. Adalat Muradov and the Rector of the Higher School of Economics Yaroslav Kuzminov.<\/span><\/p>\n

The National Research University the Higher School of Economics of Russia which takes place in the world ranking of universities \u201cQS\u201d and \u201cWebometrics\u201d was established in 1992. The University has got a student staff of 25 thousand and a teaching staff of 2.500. The University of 35 Alumni covers all stages of the education beginning from the lyceum to the post graduation and MBA. A wide spectrum of teaching on humanitarian sciences, engineering and computer sciences together with the socio- economic majors are carried out in the higher education institution which offers exchange and dual diploma programs with the leading universities of the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
