Dr. Adalat Muradov, Rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), has visited Turkey and had meetings at several universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting at Gazi University, Turkey, directions of future cooperation between the universities have been identified.\u00a0 Prof. A.Muradov gave a speech in front of the Scientific Council at Gazi University.\u00a0 Then a cooperation protocol has been signed by the rectors of both universities \u2013 Prof. Adalat Muradov and Prof. S\u00fcleyman B\u00fcy\u00fckberber. According to the agreement, at the first stage, Dual Master\u2019s degree in “Business Management” will be organized at UNEC\u2019s Center of International Master and Doctoral Studies jointly with Gazi University. Moreover, student and scholar exchange programs between two universities will be organized and it will be possible jointly participate in “ERASMUS+” program.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the meeting with Prof. Abdullah Atalar, Rector of Bilkent University, cooperation issues have been discussed. According to the signed protocol, a Dual MBA program will be organized and Bilkent University will support UNEC to establish library system.<\/span><\/p>\n

A protocol of cooperation has also been signed during the meeting with Prof. Murat Tuncer, Rector of Hacettepe University.\u00a0 According to the document, Dual Master Programs in “Finance” and “Health Management” will be organized, student and scholar exchange programs will be implemented, and modernization of library and information system will be supported. Moreover, participants of the projects “The young teacher” and “Young Professor” will be supported in their research. Universities will also cooperate in “ERASMUS +” program.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the protocol signed during the meeting at Middle East Technical University (METU), METU\u2019s experience will be used to establish association for UNEC\u2019s alumni and student and scholar exchange program will be organized by implementing Mevlana program. UNEC\u2019s delegation is invited to the conference \u201cTurkish Universities in European Research Environment\u201d which will be held on October 7-8, 2015, jointly with European Union. Universities will also organize joint research projects and will support young professors to get more experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another protocol is signed during the meeting with Prof. Adem Sahin, Rector of TOBB University of Economics and Technology. One of TOBB\u2019s “International Business” programs will be organized jointly with UNEC. Moreover, exchange programs for MBA students and scholars will be organized. TOBB UET will provide technical and methodic support for reforms at UNEC and will support \u201cYoung Lecturer\u201d and \u201cYoung Professor\u201d programs. Universities will also cooperate in \u201cERASMUS+\u201d program.<\/span><\/p>\n

During his visit, Rector of UNEC has met with Prof. Yekta Sarac, Chairman of Higher Education Council of Turkey (YOK) and Prof. Mehmet \u015ei\u015fman, Vice-chairman of YOK. During the meeting, cooperation between the universities of two countries, as well as development of relationships with other universities of Turkey have been discussed. Prof. Yekta Sarac appreciated the cooperation between UNEC and Turkish universities and mentioned he will support the dual degree programs.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
