A scientific workshop on \u201cDebt Crisis: causes and solutions\u201d has been held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).<\/p>\n

The global debt crisis, the causes of the crisis and the effectiveness of anti-crisis measures taken by countries around the world, as well as the firms\u2019 debt problems in Azerbaijan have been discussed during the seminar.<\/p>\n

The employee of the Scientific Research Institute of Economic Studies<\/a><\/span>\u00a0Salman Najafov has delivered the information about the anti-crisis measures implemented in the United States, Europe and Japan. He said although large-scale anti-crisis programs are being implemented, the pace of economic countries remain low in these countries. In addition, promotional events carried out in the stock market has created \u201cbubbles\u201d in these countries, and in general, led to additional risks in the world of economy.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the problems of the debt of the companies in Azerbaijan, the speaker said the high level of problem loans in banks show that the companies face with serious problems. To mitigate the debt problems of the firms, he underlined the necessity to apply the project of financing widely used in the world economy.<\/p>\n
